Typical bloody english you make me ashamed to be one... can't you take a joke the bloke is just winding you all up. Instead we are all so full of ourselves and on our pretentious high bloody moral ground that we just embarrass ourselves. Admittedly you do see a few smiles in the UK that look like the council have been doing roadworks on, but its mainly because we don't tend to obsess about having a perfect smile.
