I wouldn't waste 2 seconds of my life on anything Cindy Sheehan has to say.

Thanks for this question. It's utterly irrelevant whether congress has the votes or the political muscle to impeach-it is simply a matter of professional and civic duty; they are sworn to defend the Constitution, therefore each one of them must do what the Constitution requires. Which is why the utter hypocrisy of most of the Democrats disgusts progressives much more then the Republicans ever could. For example, Hillary Clinton has basically declared that Bush intentionally misled the American people into a war that has taken over 3,000 and close to 1,000,000 Iraqi lives. But she also doesn't support impeachment! If this kind of behavior doesn't warrant impeachment, what on earth could? Future Presidents will be able to point to GWB as an example of a guy who went completely unchallenged NO MATTER WHAT DAMAGE HE DID, NO MATTER WHAT LIBERTIES HE TOOK WITH THE CONSTITUTION. He couldn't have done it without a cowardly, egomaniacal, Congress that was too complicitous in too many of his actions to challenge him.

While I love the idea of Bush getting impeached, it's not gonna happen. It's simple mathematics... Dems and their allies don't have NEARLY the votes to do anything...

There's not enough votes to do anything about the war, let alone impeachment.

i think impeachment is a good idea, and as you know mr. clinton was impeached for obstruction of justice and perjury. he was not convicted. i think the problem with the current president is that he was not elected. it is also unfortunate that he has replaced two supreme court justices. these same justices were the ones who broke the law when they overturned darby v. state in the florida election. i believe that the entire government is unconstitutional. would you like to read my novel....."The Unconstitutional States of America"??????i wish you would email me.
