80% of divorces are iniciated by woman ... why is this??

Women have a higher horomone level, which causes us to have faster reactions and mood swings. But basically I think its just because were unforgiving and hold on to things for to long, and we need to take things a little more rational.

Most divorces are initiated by woman because most men do not want to deal w/the emotional mess of "working" on the relationship. Men would rather settle w/the circumstances than to face them. Women are more apt to be forgiving, but when we say "enough", we're done!!!

I think that now on this age is because we women are not about to take it any more we are tired of men treating us like maids. And like the dumb wife at home. Even though divorce can be hard, is much harder living with a man that doesn't respect you.

Men will just go out and cheat, or leave and start a new family regardless of being married or not. Women like to finish one relationshiop before they start another one so it is usually up to the women to take care of the divorce proceedings.

because men are taught not to express their feelings, and don't talk to their wives. When communication breaks down the wife finally gets fend up and she files for divorce and guess what most men are blindsided by this cause they can't figure out what they did wrong.

Because woman marry a man the way he is. Then as time progresses they find out they dont like the way "he does this, or doesn't do it." How often do you hear a man say "I dont like the way you put the dishes in the dishwasher...could you do it like this?" OR "you're driving too fast."

Basically, women want everyone else to be like them. (because their way of doing things is best---I guess!)

I think, as a woman, we're more likely to make a move when we're unhappy, a guy will stick it out and just deal with it, where we say screw that, no sense being unhappy and miserable.

well i think that i can answer that cause i am actually going through that right now...i think that my wife filed for divorce because it was a power trip issue....."you either do this or that ..(whatever i was told)or i am divorcing you" excuse me ...it is supposed to be a two way street not her way or no way...i think that women think like that alot...not all women ...i am not stero-typing but i know a majority of them think that way...again just my opinion.
