Yes it was deliberate, they do that all of the time, when a republican stands up against a Bush-type agenda.
By the time it is corrected, thousands of people have already seen it, and think of it as a democrat witch hunt, and never pay attention to the correction.
The party loyalist pay more attention to the D and R than they do who the person is, and the people who know, don't even have to look at the D or R to know what the guy is, so they don't even realize the mistake.

Faux Noise is the American 'Pravda'. They have zero legitimacy as a news gathering agency. They're simply a propaganda vehicle for the cons. And like most cons, they'll lie, cheat, defame... do whatever they have to do... short of telling the truth.

If you knew much about Senator Specter and the majority of the voters that he represents, you'd understand why he's looked at as being liberal vs conservative. Most of his constituents are liberals.
