Because it would be political suicide and Repubs are finally growing a backbone and making Dems stand up for something. Several votes have failed in the Senate on the war, all put forth by Dems and all in one sense or another trying to force us to leave. If we leave there will be chaos.
Yes this war was for oil, nobody can deny that, but that wasn't the only reason.

Honestly, we probably are. The same human rights violations are happening in Darfur that were happening in Iraq before the war and yet we have done little for Darfur. The the other hand an HONEST assessment of the conditions in Iraq were leading to action more detrimental to the US and it's interests. However, by this line of thinking that it is a war for oil, doesn't that put blame on all the people who have blocked every attempt to explore for and harvest new oil reserves in domestic locations.

Riding bikes has nothing to do with pulling out troops, much like your question has nothing to do with common sense.

I think it has just as much to do with the arms manufacturers who have made thousands off every single bomb droped. I mean, they're in charge of your "democracy" just as much as the oil companies right?
Face it, without war or at least the threat of war, your country's economy could hardly exist. It's called the military industrial complex, you should learn how it works sometime.

Does buying a scooter that gets 90 mpg count?
maybe you should do some research, and look at what law Bush keeps pressuring the Iraq government on, if you think it isn't.

It is not to get more oil, it is to disrupt the supply of oil.
Disrupting supply raises prices for more profits.

I am sorry you fail the bias and inflammatory question requirement. Because this question is one sided and it's intentions are only to further the divide of this nation, I will not answer this question.
