CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR.
I haven't had any kids but my sister said the contractions felt like very very stroing cramps. Everyone is different but like I said speak with your doctor. In the mean time try a warm wet rag on your tummy. If it is the baby this will sooth the baby or rub lotion on y our tummy like your rubbing the baby's back. Again this will calm the baby and maybe he/she is just jamming it's lil foot into

Sounds like gas to me, or else the baby is sitting on your tail bone.
You'll get a lot of pressure and tightness with braxton hicks, and those are just normal contractions you'll have all your pregnancy, and in the begining of labor.
As long as the feeling goes away when you lay down and drink water for a few minutes you're okay.

I bet you're constipated. No joke. Call your doc and he can tell you what is ok to take. As for what do contractions feel like... oh Hun you will know. Last year when I miscarried at 14 weeks, I had contractions for over an hour. Every time one would come I just layed there holding myself and cried because it hurt so bad. This time around, when I went in for my first prenatal my doc gave me a packet of do's, donts and a bunch of other info. From what you have said... I really think you are constipated. TOTALLY normal during pregnancy.

Sounds more like maybe the baby or something is pressing on the intestines if you are feeling like you have to go to the bathroom, but then I'm no doctor. The best advice to give is that you should call the doctor and let him check you out to make sure everything is ok. Good luck!!

Could be braxton hicks, or round ligament pain. You get tonnes of twinges and pains from being pregnant. You should check with your doctor just to be safe and put your mind at ease.

I don't know about as early as you are. But my first sent false contractions a couple of days ahead of time. The hosp. sent us back home. They felt the same.
But as early as you are I would check with your doctor. He or she is the one that can really tell.

Probably Braxton-Hicks contractions resulting from the uterus growing. Google it.
