Carolina Panthers...since 1995, first season. Because that just so happened to be the new team (with the Jaguars) on the first year that I got into football instead of just watching with my parents. And using my 8 year old's logic, I took the cooler sounding team between the Panthers and Jaguars...and I'm going to stick with them...

Panthers now and forever

Steelers, been a fan my whole life. Grew up near Pittsburgh. I'm also a fan of teams with a strong defensive legacy. Raiders are number 2 on my list followed by the Giants. L.T. (the original) is the best overall defensive football player i have ever seen.

Miami Dolphins.

The reason is that during the 1970's I really admired how Don Shula coached the team. I also really admired how smart the team played, and how they always committed the fewest penalties in football.
I also like the aqua uniforms.

Also the team that I liked growning up, the Rams, abandoned me. First by a stupid and vain woman owner who kept sabatouging the team by dumping my favorite players, and then by taking the team away from Southern California.

Well I kind of like the Houston Texans, because to get rid of Bud Adams we had to give up our football team (The Oilers, they were my favorite).

I am trying to get use to the Texans, I was raised to root for the hometown team and since I grew up around the world (D.O.D.) it was usually my only connection to my hometown.
I do like where they seem to be going. But they are still too new I don't love them like I loved the Oilers, yet. But I do love the Saints they were the team in the inbetween years.

The Cowboys.

A history that includes 8 Super Bowl trips and five wins. I first started following them when I was a toddler in the 60's, when Bob Lilly, who turned 68 yesterday, was in his third season.

They have also been innovators, since their inception. Everytime you see cheerleaders on the sidelines of pro games, that wide white stripe surrounding the boundry lines, the double stripes at the twenties, luxury boxes and rings of honor, you can thank the Cowboys for starting it.

West Virginia Mountaineers, because that's my alma mater and I loved my time in Morgantown. I'll never have allegiance to any pro team the way I do to my college football team!
