i am travelling to india from libya throdubai. i want to know if i miss my connecting flight in dubai die to delay in libyan airways and emirates does not give me fr loging are there any reasonably priced single rooms in the airport(arnd 30 dollars) where i may shower , change and catch a few winks till i get my flight? waht abt food there? is it too expensive?/ thanks

Sorry, I do not know about any accomodation for USD 30 at Dubai Airport. Showers are available but only in VIP Longues. To change you can use the bathrooms. If you are concerned about a delay regarding Libyan Airways, get in touch with them and ask them where and how to reimburse them for any costs resulting of delay. It's always up to the airline's policy.
Regarding a delay I once got provided with a room in a 5 star hotel and another time just with some food vouchers. It all depends on the airline.

Missing flight due to delay in connecting flight is sole responsibilty of airline and hence they will take care of ur food/accomodation. Accomodation if purely depending on the numbers of hours left for the subsequent flight. If the flight is missed 'cos of ur mistake for ex: u spend more time in duty free and forgot to hear announcement for connecting flight or u took short nap but apparently became long then airline will not provide u accomodation.
In any case, Dubai airport is very much organised and washroom available almost every 50m gap where u can get fresh.
In ur case there is no way u can come out of the airport to fetch for lodging so forget abt the cost of hotel outside hotel. Food ranges from $3 to $100 for burger to full fledge meals depend on what type of food u gonna have.

You don’t have to worry about that. If you have missed the connection flight due to the delay of Libyan airlines, obviously it is their responsibility to provide you the accommodation and food. I am not sure about your final destination in India. Emirates airline is operating average two flights daily to almost all the Indian airports. So you will get the very next flight scheduled to your destination. If the stopover is above 6 hours in Dubai then you will get nice accommodation in a star hotel on full board basis. Otherwise they will provide you meals from the airport restaurant.
Contact the transit desk as soon as you arrive in Dubai airport. The staff will assist you on this regard.
