I liked them both. The movie stuck pretty well to the book if it could not fit all the stuff with it. The book was a real pleasant surprise I really enjoyed it better than the last two books and I thought it was well worth the time reading.

My husband just got done reading the book so I get it now and he said I will be very upset. I am still not over the last one. I was (for the first time) disappointed in the movie. I do not feel they stuck very well to the book nor do I feel that they told enough of the important facts.

I don't like Harry Potter, I don't know what all the hype is about... I used to think it was ok at first, but... come on! All of the movies are so similar, like the prisoner of the askaban, i knew what was going to happen, it was like i had allready seen the whole movie...yet it had just come out in theaters. I respect people who like the books, so don't yell at me for not liking them...the movies are O.K. (Haven't read the new one, but I will later...same with movie)

The movie was good.

My wife reads the books and tells me the plots and endings. I thought the book and JK Rowling copped out. I thought we were supposed to see a major death. She even said so in news conferences over a year ago. She lost her gut and played to the masses who complained.

i agree except i liked the sixth book the best, i didn't make you have so many questions at the end about the characters and what they did after the defeat of voldemort
