"Koran (9:11) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace."

Just a remainder, the country POLAND, have an eagle as a symbol as well and no THEY will not be the "cleaners". Someone suggested that US is/will be the country that "clean" the Arab world, while having so much parasites it self.

Yeah, that's what I thought.
Sooo, where is your humility?...

AND....is it right to teach someone else, while not knowing your self?

I had no idea the Koran had any mention of doing away with Allah. Are you sure it doesn't read "...cleansed the lands FOR Allah..."?

Regardless, I have no idea what it means. There's no way of ever knowing what scriptural predictions mean. Just look at how nearly every decade of the past 500 years has found someone claiming they were about to witness the Bible's apocalypse -- as if God would ever issue a "Save the Date" announcement.

I didn't read the other answers [if any] before writing this, but I'm sure at least one person has trumpeted that the eagle is the U.S. More blathering of the "rah rah rah, America is the greatest and most deserving nation." I'm a native-born U.S. citizen, and it never ceases to amaze me how obnoxiously egomaniacal some of my fellow citizens are. Thinking it's our right [or imperative] to force the world to be just like us is the height of arrogance -- and the very definition of Facism.

Lordy, I wish I lived alone on an island in the middle of the Pacific.

I guess the US could be the "cleaners". I don't put much stock in correlating Holy Scriptures with world political prophecies. They have been wrong, far too often. Look at the Holy Scriptures as religious writings, as the Eagle as a power that will "clean" the lands of Allah in a spiritual sense. Could it be Lech Walesa & his people's worker's movement? That's more "spiritual" in intent, isn't it?

Sorry kid. The verse is a fake. The 9:11 should be a clue.

Sura 9:11 says "Yet if they turn to God in prayer, and pay the impost, then are they your brethren in religion."

It's Mohammad's compassionate advice on dealing with polytheists. (Which includes Christians since they believe Jesus is God)

Sura 9:11 is a polite rephrasing of Sura 9:5

"And when the sacred months are past, kill those who join other gods with God wherever ye shall find them; seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush: but if they convert, and observe prayer, and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way, for God is Gracious, Merciful."

Always a pleasure to study the "Religion of Peace"

interesting.
Every country has parasites. People in free countries can choose to avoid the parasites, become parasites themselves, or leave the country if they don't like it.
Nothing beats freedom!!
Don't wait for someone else to clean up your lands. Do it yourself! Become the eagles!

the meaning is whatever you write into it. personally, i find this a coincidence that may or may not be part of His plan. no one can truly be sure what it represents. predictions are only made true by those they are made about.

i think you miss the entire idea people have put behind this verse if you think ANY human is a parasite.
