First of all, if your legs look like that photo, I'll listen to anything you have to say!

Yes. We can listen and respond even if it is we who have offended.
(Are you mad about the leg comment? I meant it as a compliment!)

If your friend has noticed this phenomenon more than three times, that indicates something is wrong. Either he is doing several things wrong or she is misinterpreting the things he does. Can that happen? Yes, definitely.

Women are emotional creatures, and that's a positively beautiful thing! ...except when their emotion gets in the way of reason.

If 'your friend' has this problem with 'her man' maybe she is at least partially to blame.

My experience is that when ANY intelligent well-meaning person tells me I have upset them, I'll listen, apologize, and explain. Further, if I was truly at fault, I will make the effort to not make the same mistake again. That is especially true if it is a woman I love and want to have sex with.

However, when a vicious vituperous vociferous virago keeps bringing up old complaints that were not my fault in the first place, I'd tell where to go... unless of course, she had legs like in that photo!;-)

Nag, nag, nag!!! If it's a daily thing and she's never happy no matter what, then I switch off. If it's a genuine issue deserving a "real" discussion, then it needs to be confronted.

I've had women tackle me before, but never because they were upset.
