My grandma cooks them with sour cream, tomatoes, onions, and I think she adds corn. I always thought it was only Mexicans that ate them (my family is originally from Mexico) but I guess they're popular in other countries as well.

Yes, I did know that. You can also eat pansies. They can be sugared and used as a garnish to decorate a cake.
