how can I get rid of my dial up connection box which appears everytime I try to connect via my wireless router and until I close this box which appears a few times I have trouble connecting. I have tried going into tools then into internet options but this does not show up on my computer any answers would be very useful in plain english please

Try it one more time...

Tools--Internet Options--Connections, in that white box; remove the dial up installed program and then select "never dial a connection" It won't auto load the dial-up connection anymore. Even better go to control panel and remove the dial up software.

Or you can uninstall the modem software itself (no harm to your computer, honest!) "the modem that is internal in your computer" from control panel--add/remove programs.

Either in Control Panel or in the Tools section of Internet Explorer, select Internet Settings. Select the Connections tab then check the item that says Never dial a connection. Close Internet Settings, restart your browser and you should have no further problems

Open Internet Explorer. Click on the Tools button (from row of buttons at top). Click on Internet Options in the drop down. Click on the tab "Connections". Click on the radio knob "Never dial a connection", save and exit. Now the lan connection will be used and the old dial up will not

show connections from start and dissable or device manager and remove in control panel

it should not show if u are on wireless..re install n follow instruction closely
