Pro Bowl QB-Nope, he had the Speed, Acceleration, and Aggility of Mike Vick. But Crouch really isnt accurate, and has no deep ball, also much like Vick!

WR-Possibly could of been a Pro Bowler. He had the Speed and Quickness, and he could catch on the run (Just ask Oklahoma!!) But his ego was to big to take the time! Route running is huge part of being a Pro Bowl WR! Steve Largent was a slow white boy the ran prefect routes! Randy Moss big fast ugly routes!

He could have been an average wide receiver, but he would have been terrible as a QB. The system at Nebraska is not at all similar to an NFL style offense. Eric Crouch was used to running the option, and in the NFL you have to pass almost all the time if you are a QB.

Not as a QB. He came from a running and option offense and at least in that system almost never had to throw. Based on that its hard to guess how he would perform in a more pass orientated pro offense. He would have been like Vick as a pro (hopefully not as a person). He was athletic which would suit him better as a WR, KR, or DB. He obviously got a late start to learning a new position and wasn't willing to put in the extra time to catch up.

Maybe as a kick returner. He was too little to be a good WR and not a realistic solution as a dual-threat QB in the NFL.

eric crouch aint know for his arm thats for sure Nebraska did not start throwing the football till this coach came thats a fact. If you put him as a wr or a kr it would work for him but not qb he may be mobile but he aint much at throwing the ball.

As much as I want to say Montana and Rice, I look at what Brady and Moss did last year and there is no denying it. Brady threw 50 Td's that season and Moss had 23 of them, they havent won a SB yet but the stats are amazing

The obvious answer is "no", seeing as how he hasn't been very successful at either.
