With the Dimocrats demanding Universal Health Care, have they mentioned how much it will cost and how much more we will have to pay in taxes? Have they mentioned the rationing that is happening in Europe and to some extent in Canada. Have they mentioned that one of the big issues in the most recent election for Prime Minister in Canada was about the mess that their health care system is?

You don't have to tell me, living in Canada over 20% of my income goes to taxes to pay for health care, & prescriptions still come out of pocket! If you want to see what a mess you'll have implementing universal health care in the U.S. magnify Canada’s problems by a factor of 10!

We need some kind of health care in the U.S. Surely with us suppose to be the leaders of the free world and high intelligence we could come up with a plan that would work.
I am going to guess you are fairly young and therefore health care is not a grave issue for you, but what about middle aged people who can not afford simple test as a mammogram, pap smear, colonoscopy, or blood pressure or diabetic check. What about seniors who can not afford meds. Do we just say oh well? Children whose parents can not afford immunizations? Do you want your child in a classroom when there is an out break of a disease that could have been prevented? I do understand that sometimes the Dems. go a little crazy with the outreach but medical care is important to all of us. We are suppose to be one of the riches counties and we let people die of disease that could have been prevented by a simple test. What if it were you're Mom, Dad, sister? Would you then feel differently? You have to admire the Dems. to have kept trying on this issue.

No. I didn't realize that Canada was having issues also. I've known about Europe.
I know that we have some health care problems to solve, for sure. Perhaps we need to straighten out those problems within the industry itself and not through government control. There must be a way.

Have Repuglies mentioned the fact that Universal Healthcare would cost the United Staes 1/3 of what it pays now?Have they mentioned that all the reports about long wait times and substandard health care in Europe are complete and total lies?I just spent 3 years in Europe and have seen how the health care system works in 7 different countries,and can tell you that O'Lielly and his Faux News minions are once again lying their faces off.But go ahead,keep supporting the insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies with your tax dollars.

And the VA situation under the Republicans for the last 6 years is doing such a great job taking care of our fighting hero's. Please Tom get a clue. How much do you think it cost's you now, checked your paycheck lately under Medicaid taxes???? We need something done about health care or we will all go broke. Have any brighter ideas there Tom?

Nope! Typical to their party they have all the answers but aren't going to part with them if it doesn't benefit their cause! They aren't really even interested as Hillary has promised health care reforms for at least 14 years and still hasn't come up with any!

Do you know that the military budget in this country remains unaudited? If it got audited, maybe we could pay for universal healthcare without raising taxes...WOW! Imagine that!
