pads :: always ultra with wings, but soon switching to organic cotton, or washable re-usable cloth ones with wings (for when i am unable to wear something internally)
tampons :: o.b. regular ProComfort
i am getting something that will take the place of both tho, the MoonCup. the US equivalent is the DivaCup, you should look into it, it's a great thing!!

Always pads are the best. Before my periods lightening up with using the pill, their overnight pads were the only thing that worked. I think both Playtex and Tampax work the same. I usually buy Tampax because I just don’t like having to deal with the plastic applicator- must easier to just flush the cardboard.

pads: i only really use them at night so generally the always night ones!! but anything with wings not so particular about pads as you don't actually put them in your body
