I have just bought a HP Photosmart printer, just for my photos it recommends i set this as my default,
How do i go about doing this please

Go to start->printers and faxes then right click on your new printer, and choose set as default. This is assuming you are using Windows XP. Otherwise, go to the control panel, and look for the printers option in there, and do the same thing.

Go to your start menu. Open the Control Panel. Find Printers and Faxes. Right click your new HP printer icon and select set as default. You should see a check mark appear.
Start > Control Panel > Printers and Faxes > Right Click > Set as Default

Open up the control panel and click on the printer folder then when you are shown a list of printers right click the HP Photosmart printer then click make default

start - control panel - printers and other hardware. see all the printers installed there. right click on the printer you want and select "Set this as default". Once it is set as default, you can see a tick mark over the printer that is the default printer.
