Yeah, it makes me sad, but I have Chevys and everyone knows when it hits around 100K miles, everything will break, whereas a Toyota or Honda is just getting started...

I am from the US and didn't realize you couldn't get real chevys! Wow.. I've never heard of a Lacetti. Why can't you have one there? Is it an import thing or emissions or what?
The older chevys last a long time but the newer ones aren't as strongly built it seems. Of course people here drive the hell outa stuff too.

The UK Chevys are just re-badged Daewoo cars. They are designed and manufactured in Korea by Daewoo, and Chevy just slaps a bowtie on the front. The Chevys in the US are nice though.

well little bitty british cars are a joke in the U.S. my algebra teacher drives a midget and it breaks down regularly. Chevy's get good gas milege. the aveo gets 30-40 miles to a gallon.

sorry 'mate', but Chevy's are a joke everywhere....they're just cheap enough for american's to afford, america is a disposable society, so people don't care that a car only lasts them 2 years max...that's longer than their attention span anyways..
