Islamofacists.
I find it completely insane how some people actually think that (worst case) bible-thumping hillbillies pose a greater risk to our nation than Muslim wackos that slam planes into buildings. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Some people still believe in terrorism. They believe that 9/11 was a terroristic event just as they believe that the Oklahoma City bombing was an act of terrorism. Joseph Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany said "if you tell a lie long enough most people will believe it."
The fact is that just like Oklahoma City, federal officials were notified in advance of the attacks on the targets of the Twin Towers, The Pentagon and The White House. Those were corporate/military/political targets.
If you want to believe in terrorism how come we haven't had any real terrorism in America being that we're at 'war' (although no war has been declared by Congress since we started a track record of losing every so-called 'war' we've been involved in since WWII) with terrorists? How come the only real act of so-called terrorism was isolated to a few thousand (out of 300 million Americans)?
Just like in the case of Oklahoma City, the victims who died on 9/11 (twin towers location) died because they chose to die. There were thousands of people who weren't at work that day when the planes struck (twin towers) just as there were people who were told "not to go to work" in Oklahoma City, Kansas City and Fort Worth (federal buildings on the day of the Ok City bombing).
Even those morons who went to work (twin towers) some survived because they started walking. When a plane flies into a building the building is going to fall. Especially if it's a jet airliner. Duh! Walk idiot. Some did, they lived. Others failed, they died. It's that simple, stupid.
If I wanted to be a terrorist I could easily terrify the American people. Two days before 9/11 planes could have been flown into three or four football stadiums dumping the fuel just before impact and frying ten's of thousands of fanatics at season opening NFL football games. The stadium with the least in attendance was Green Bay with something around 57,000 people. Others had attendance near 75-80K.
Can you imagine the mass hysteria of seeing four football stadiums on fire with camera crews filming it from within? What happened on 9/11 was child's play. It was a message. Unfortunately, Americans are braindead for the most part. Rudy Guiliani wants to be President and has yet to read the 9/11 Commission Report or to talk about it openly. But then he's an "expert." Go back to NYC and shut your mouth Rudy.
The biggest threat to U.S. national security are Americans who believe what they're told by politicians and by the media. The owners of the Federal Reserve (since 1914) have been on a power quest and are simply attempting to consolidate more power for themselves at your expense. If you're naive, you get what you deserve.
If you vote for Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Guiliani, Romney, McCain or any other puppet running for any office you get what you deserve. Their are very few politicians who will tell you the truth. The rest are puppets for the owners of the Federal Reserve.
Ron Paul is a patriot while the others are merely puppets. So to answer your question directly, Americans themselves are the greatest threat to national security. If you fail to vote, or you vote for a puppet, you will see America become increasingly insecure.

Israeli Co Is New Pentagon Computer Security Supplier!
http://www.rense.com/general77/isco.htm
The Israeli company for computer security Check Points has been appointed as the official supplier to the American Ministry of Defense. In particular, the company will supply American Federal agencies with a protection system for data stored on laptop computers. (Guysen.International.News) July 17, 2007
Whatever one may think of the old Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, the protocols of the current elders seem to be working very efficiently. Let's see. They control Congress and the White House, security at all our major airports, through the Israeli company Amdocs they manage the billing of 90% of US private telephone companies, and now they have a direct line into the computers of every federal agency because one may be assured that if they have a system, they know how to bypass it. Of course, by calling it "Check Points," that is equivalent to the Nazis of an earlier generation calling their school yards, "Concentration Camps." Different era, same mentality.-JB

The members of the "Ostrich" movement who have their heads in the sand and think that this war against the Salafist Jihadists is just to gain partisan political advantage. The worst of the bunch are those who peddle the crap about the 9/11 conspiracy. They are the "Fifth Columnists" in this war.

To be a genuine threat, a nation would have to be bigger (more than 300 million people), wealthier, more technically advanced, and able to call on more friends than the US.
Other than that, it's all internal kid...
