One supports the other. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to put 2+2 together. The Christians really don't mind for underneath their facade lies a seething and raging monster awaiting the chance to defile truth, embezzel freedom, and create wars and murders on a global scale.
A grand solution would be to put them and the Islamics in a desolate area of the world and give them all axes. Peace would reign for thousands of years.

If they are, it wouldn't be the first time the term Christian was misused (abused). But you're spot on about what the Bible says except for the seven x seven. It's actually 70 x 7. A typing error, perhaps? Anyway, it's not meant to be an actual number, just an example of how the Lord forgives us.
At any rate, I have to question how history will judge America's invasion of Iraq if it is finally proven that there was no connection between Saddam and the events of Sept. 11th. We are allowed and expected to defend ourselves, but the invasion was an offensive move.

For republicans to gain support from moderate liberals they know they have to do so by convincing them of some very simple values since they're made up of mostly very simple folk.
It's marketing at it's best.
The republicans are simply doing what the democrats have done for years to gain their previous roller coaster of support from moderate citizens.

I guess you haven't payed much attention to Obama and Hillary lately. But, I suppose that's OK with liberals. A little more hypocrisy never hurts.

You are correct. But this isn't new. The neoconservatives and the religious extremists are essentially thesame--and while they have hijacked the Republican Party, they at the same time have inflitrated, corrupted, and hijacked conservative churches in America.
But make no mistake--these people are no more real Christians than they are real conservatives.
