I work in a business casual environment...I typically wear nice khakis w/ polos OR black pants w/ wrap style shirts....I was wondering if you had any recommendations for a sweater or something that I could wear with this when I am cold (which is practically all of the time...lol)...Would just a basic cardigan sweater be best? What colors do you recommend? Thanks!!

I suggest a casual jacket made of moleskin, corduroy or denim. Examples: http://www.landsend.com/pp/MoleskinJeanJacket-55581_133667_59.html?CM_MERCH=PAGE_390

Or a sweater in an interesting knit like this: http://www.landsend.com/pp/OpenStitchShawlCardiganSweater-66620_172983_59.html?CM_MERCH=PAGE_66620

As for colors: navy, brown, grey or black - depending on what would flatter the shirts you wear to work.

White or wheat would be nice for spring & summer. Here's an example in linen: http://www.landsend.com/pp/4pocketStandupCollarLinenJacket-76545_172042_59.html?CM_MERCH=PAGE_76545

A nice sweater would work. Why don't you try and buy a white one and a black one so you can try to match best with the colors you are wearing, Cardigans are nice or girly zip up hoodys, or just a cable knit version of a sweater that buttons up

A little black coat, if it very cold, keeps your silhouette and doesn't look at all "grandma-ish". If it is not quite that cold, you could try layering (wear (multiple!) undershirts and leggings underneath pants), and try to go for thicker fabrics when you buy clothes next time. Basic cardigan sweaters are very classy and classic, and I would go with colors that can be mixed around for your outfits (black, white, brown, navy, etc.) so that you don't have to buy a dozen different cardigans. Good luck!

I think a professional jacket would be nice. With a polo, I would wear a basic cardigan sweater!

A cute cardigan sweater would look nice. You could also try a dark wash jean jacket, (looks nice with a skirt or pants) or a nice zip-up sweater.

Yes a cardigan sweater would be best. Probably one in dark blue, light yellow, or basic black.

Try to find a black sweater (black goes with everything!) or maybe a stylish, but casual jacket. I hope i helped!
