Yes that is true, for men or women. Generally though, men already have thick dark hair, but yes, if you start shaving an area where it is still more like peach fuzz, the hair will grow back darker and thicker.

Alternatives to shaving if you want to get rid of hair would be waxing (even using something OTC like Nad's), or maybe laser hair removal.

It's pretty much an old wives tale about the hair will grown back thicker but I can tell you from personal experience that over time, yes, it will grow back longer and if you ever want to go back to a more natural look it will involve some on-going trimming to keep it that way.

NO, it is not true. It is a myth, perpetuated by the fact that many adolescent girls start shaving when their hair is just starting to get darker. By the time it grows back, it's darker and thicker than before. Nothing affects the color or thickness of your hair except your genes.

for the most part, yes. when girls start shaving their legs for the first time, most of the hair is really light. almost blonde. but after shaving it a couple times it starts to grow back thicker and darker. which is why girls have to shave more than once a month.

this would be a fantasy-I even have shaved my legs and underarms all my existence and whilst it grows decrease back there is infrequently something there-my buddy who basically waxes has thicker hair improve than me and has to go through 2 weeks of regrowth every time she desires it redone.I on the different hand in simple terms shave my legs and underarms on a daily basis so continuously have large mushy dermis....yet under no circumstances shave the face except youre a guy thats sooooo different!
