There is no "Right to Privacy".
It is another made-up right that people compare to the imaginary alternative of the "police state called Big Brother".
All in their heads.
No law, no reality, nonsense.
There are certain things the Constitution grants us. Period. Read it, folks.
You want more? Make the effort to legislate before you bad-mouth our government or others for doing what isn't illegal in the first place.
I don't like the way people gossip, but until I am willing to legislate and see it into law that "gossip is illegal" I'm not going to make a fool of myself with imaginary laws.

Are you saying this is ok? No it didn't surprise me. I knew of it long ago. What does bother me is the attitude of...Well if you have nothing to hide. Which is foolishness. Whether you have something to hide or not it is a violation. To ignore it is asking for the worst. It is against all we hold true and dear. Leave the regular citizen alone.

I'm not surprised at all. Some groups have been trying to make the USA a police state for years.

They can listen to my calls from my mother-in-law if they want...I could use a witness on how long I have to listen about her corns...My mate does not believe me hahahaha
Without good cause, I do not see the reason in monitoring the average citizen...But if you know where I can get ahold of the tapes of the aforementioned chats then drop me a line!!

Why does it really matter? What are they going to find out? My sis in law is an idiot and that whole side of the family drives me crazy. Oh no they are going to learn I call in and order chinese food once a week. If they want to waste their time listening to people live their lives so be it.
It has nothing to do with search and seizure what are they going to seize your take out records oh no lets march to the white house get real people. We all know it is a waste of time to listen in on our conversations in that same manner it is a waste of time to disuss them listening to us. Again who freaking cares if you have nothing to hide why do you care that they know your hubby is working late or that you have reminded your wife to pick up milk on her way home. This is what the majority of our calls consist of anyway.

Because of people's protection from unreasonable searches and seizures. It is against people's right to privacy.
