I think the Flemish people have the best English accent. Compaired with the people you mentioned the English spoken films are not dubbed with the local language and we can hear how a language is pronounced originally.

The French speaking English with their French accent is the best of these three accents. I think that's what you meant by your question? It's so sexy and pleasant sounding. The Italian one is okay, but then it turns too "Brooklyney" and from "Juysey". As for the German one, well you're kidding right, just hear the "Governator" Arnold ha ha

The *closest* (rather than "best") accent would probably be the Germans.
English, after all, is classified as a Germanic language - with a large Latin influence - believe it or not.
In my experience as a language student in Europe, the Dutch have the closest accent to English and those I have spoken to have an incredibly good grasp of English.

I see - you mean which nationality Italians, French, Germans sounds most like an English accents. I would say German, I met a German lad and thought he had a really posh English accent. And as we are an offshoot of the Anglos I think it would be a good bet.

Dutch people are probably the most fluent speakers of English, and their accents are pretty distinctive. Scandanavians though probably have the best 'English-sounding' anglophone accent.
I also like the sound of a French voice speaking fluent English (very sexy) and also Italians speaking English (this has a kind of quirky charm)

lots of the WWII movies made in simple terms after the war such simply by fact the Longest Day did have Germans conversing german with subtitles. This gave the action picture an incredibly actual experience. the comparable for Tora tora tora wherein eastern Naval workers all spoke eastern with subtitles. a extra robust issue, for my area, is the craze of recent Hollywood war movies to rewrite historic previous to make the human beings seem to have taken area in strikes that had no longer something to do with them. Examples are U571 wherein Jon Bon Jovi captures the enigma code device from the Germans. in actuality this replace into the British and purpose Burma wherein Errol Flynn relieves Burma from eastern profession whilst in actuality no human beings have been combating in Burma in any respect.

Southerners have the best English accent..Y'all...ever hear those along the Gulf Coast...smooth as Honey and twice as sweet...just summons up visions of Magnolias and warm Southern nights along a sandy beach. If God lived on Earth again, he would choose the Gulf Coast.
