I don't get upset. It seems that some folks get really upset when someone does not speak to them. I witnessed this yesterday. I was like If someone does not speak,oh well. You can't make people say hello. Yahooers how would you respond if you see someone you know and they don't speak? Or vice versa?

TEA-thanks. I am like you. no sleep lost. I noticed a guy get upset and called the other guy out. but the 2 guys did not even know eachother. I was like WOW! is it that serious?

If someone says hello to me, I say it back even if I don't know them. I may not stop and have a conversation, but I will acknowledge when something is being said to me. If someone ignores me, they either don't want to talk to me, don't like me, or have something on their mind that has them preoccupied. Either way, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

well im probably like the person who wouldnt speak. even when i know someone and i see them i may smile or do a little wave but i am kinda awkward at conversation (even with people i know) if they are not a close friend. so i always hope people know i am just shy or like to keep a little distance and hope they dont take offense to it.
if they were to ignore me or not speak i would prob wonder why but it would just go in and out my mind. not something i would actually let get to me or dwell on.
i might even be relieved!

If someone does not speak to me
when I say "Hello"...I just figure that they
are busy, have a lot on their minds,
or just did not hear me.
If they keep not responding to me,
after time...I continue to say "Hello".
This way I am still being nice.
And others start to see them as
inconsiderate people.
For which they are being.
Either way it is a win / win
situation for me.

Generally... they're just jerks.
So don't let them get to you.
And sometimes I've even gotten some payback.
Like they'll say hello to me.. and I'll stick my nose up in the air.
Wonder if they now know how it felt to feel snubbed ?

I don't worry about it....who cares.....alot of times i don't feel like talking.....or may be busy or have alot on my mind.
