The only casting calls anyone lists on websites like that will be cattle calls, meaning open calls for TONS of people at a time to go to.

To get a rols on a show, 99.9% of the time you'll need a agent beause the casting notice will go out through Breakdown Services which is a listing service that sends these notices to industry people only (agents, managers, etc) every morning. The agent then goes through the listings and sees which ones his/her clients would be right for and sends out headshots & resumes to the acsting directors for those projects. If the casting director thinks those actors may be right for the role, they call and book the actor for an audition.

So, if you want to audition for any of those shows you will need to get an agent. However it's not that easy to get an agent. Most of the time they will not take you unless you've had a good amount of training and a fair amount of credits on your resume already. How you get started is taking acting classes (voice and dance is a good idea as well) and taking part in local theatre productions and student and independent films.

good luck!

You're 100% right. There is nothing wrong with trying. Here's what's wrong with what you are doing. An actor cannot decide which shows they want to be on. You take any job on any show. And if you want to audition you need to have an agent. They are the gatekeepers. It's very hard to get an agent. They only sign actors who are ready to work at the professional level. What I'm saying is you're running a fool's errand. If you want to act you'll have to do what everyone else does. Take as many classes as you can until you are good enough. THEN try to get an agent. Then maybe you can get some good auditions. There are tens of thousands of people out there trying and you'd better be good enough to compete.

You need a Talent Agent to submit you to the Casting Director.

If you don't have a Talent Agent, you can't audition.
