Can you tell me if this is a scam please? It is from a man who was raised in africa and he is decribing all of his problems like how he was premature or his mother was or something and the jobs he had to find in africa. He said his father had $3,500,000 dollars that he left to this man before he died. Now the man is asking if he can use my account to transfer the money and I can get 10% of what he is offering. HELP! What do I do?

This is of course is a scam like everyone is saying. I think i once saw this on 20/20 or primetime tv or one of those shows where they expose some things like this. It sounds really fishy to me since he's all the way from Africa, especially africa because that's where Nigerian Scandals and stuff are from. Africa is highly dangerous place to wire money to because its government is poor and swindlers/thieves use this place to get what they want. You should watch identity theift on Dateline nbc (youtube has it)

Hope this helps! :)

Scam.
What he is doing is trying to collect personal data on you for Identity theft.
First he will need your bank account information, then he will ask for your date of birth and social security niumbers so that he can 'file the paperwork' with the government. He will tell you that there will be taxes due on the 3.5 million, but that you will be able to keep the money from the 3.5 million to pay that.
He might also ask you to send a small % upfront as a 'good will' gesture.
Believe or not, these people have scammed thousands using this scheme.

DO NOT fall for this!!! Would you give a total stranger a way to withdraw money from your account? That's what you'd be doing.
