I've had more people than I can count act like they're my friend and it turn out they hated me and were talking behind my back the entire time. This is a very hurtful experience and it keeps happening to me.If you couldn't stand me to being with..why were you following me around? Why would someone try to sleep with you or act like they're your friend (call you, setup get togethers, try to get close to you)if they don't really like you as a person?Have you experienced this?

Unfortunately I have, several times. One even had me as her maid of honor, and as we lined up for the procession I heard her tell her father "I don't even like any of these people, I just needed girls to match the number of guys." I didn't think she was including me in that until I never heard from her again. I don't know why that happened because I thought we were close. I drove a guy home from a bar and I heard him tell his roommate, "She isn't even all that cute up close but at least I didn't have to take a cab home." They laughed about it. When he came back and suggested we go to his room, I told him off and left.

The other times from what I can gather, one was too much like me and saw things in me she didn't like about herself (still not a good reason to talk about me), another was insecure and I made her feel good about herself but apparently she thought I was fake and secretly agreed with her own bad feelings and low self-esteem. Unfortunately I no longer want to get close to anyone.

I have no idea why someone would do that. There are always users. The key is don't get used. Some people are just hateful, you can't change them all you can do is not put yourself around them. If you question someones motives then rethink the friendship.

I'm sorry that this has happened to you - it hurts, I know. Some people just can't get beyond 'spreading the love' (and who knows what else they're spreading & sharing).

These people are immature, backstabbers, and are unworthy of you. Don't give them a second of your time--don't even say hello to them. They are not even your friends.

I hope that you have learned a valuable lesson about people (even though, unfortunately, it was the hard way).

Be selective; be choosy; never 'settle' for anything less than you really want.

I have had that happen to me! I think it comes down to the animal instict in all of us to fulfill ourselves sexually. Personally I couldn't sleep with someone just to fulfill that need, I have to actually like the person.

maybe they're trying to get something out of you to use against you
as for sleeping; that's why you should save it for after marriage.
Marriage is a serious vow not to be mendled with. That's why you should keep virginity until then so you KNOW your husband is serious loving you not pretending.
