If Spaniards have Arab ancestry in them, does that mean that Hispanic people have Arab ancestry. Think about it if Spaniards are a mixture of Early European Anglos mixed with Arabs and others, then Hispanics do have Arab blood?

Hello,

Yes, many do. The Moors ruled parts of Spain for 700 years.

The Moors were a sect in Spain, but not every Spaniard has Arab ancestry, no. And most Hispanic people are the natives that lived in Mexico, South America, ect when the Spaniards arrived. The chances that a Spaniard has Moor ancestory is slim, making the chances that a Hispanic person of native ancestry having the chance very slim. No, they are mostly native Blood.

I'm considered African American or black and consider myself as such. But at the same time, I know that I have Hatian, Cherokee, Caucasian and Phillipino ancestors in my blood line. I don't know of any African specifically just yet, but I know that science has proven all of mankind derived from Africa then migrated about the world. It ties into the ice age, enviromental changes, evolution yada yada and so on as to why we have so many diverse races on earth. So anyway that's a no brainer. I have African in my blood line as well as we all do. Lol, they should make it real simple and call all everyone African. Since they must label people, make it true to form. We're all mixed up dude but at least they know where we all derived from to begin with.

As do Italians, Sicilians, Greeks.

Also, The majority of Hispanics from Mexico also have Native American Blood in them.

But here's the real kicker.

We're all human and we're all from the same place. Earth.

Figure that out yet?

some do. because arabs controlled spain at one time. and like someone said shakira's dad is arab, but i think you are talking about far back. but not all hispanics are. some hispanics have arab names like fatima, fidel, and some others, because of the arab occupation of spain.

actually, Spaniards were hell bent, not to mix with Arabs, Moors, etc. They even sent a lot of them back to Africa and the Mid East in the days of crusading~
I would say, a few, but not all and it is possibly washed out.

well, yes, some of them do, but it is probably not easy to tell 'which' and 'how much' unless they can trace their ancestry back to Spain, and even then is hard. But of course it doesn't matter. Folks are folks
