They have different names in different places, languages and families: but generally acceptable names are, thumb, pointing finger, middle finger, ring finger and little finger!

id vote for index over pointer, and that last one may be called the pinky finger. i dont know why though

I know the thumb is the hallux.

I don't know the rest more than: thumbkin, pointer, tall man, ring man, and pinkie.
