Okay, let me clarify. It happened to my friends Dad. He was hit on his cycle. The guy that hit him stopped and got out to help. As he was getting up, another car came and plowed him down, killing him. They don' have any info on who did it. It was 3 in the morning, dark, you know.

I would probally start seeing things and start going crazy if I didnt turn myself in. Then I would probally be the star in I Know What You Did Last Summer 2. I think I would have to turn myself in. I couldnt deal witht the guilt.

I'd want to know why someone was walking on the freeway. Secondly, how do you smash into someone ON the freeway without anyone else witnessing it? What time of day are we talking about here, because I live in Manhattan and the freeways around NYC are always packed...so I'm pretty sure it would be witnessed.
I'd never turn myself in...I'm like a real-life Thelma and Louise, just without any Louise.

I would not be able to live with myself if I fled the scene. You did say that it was an accident. I wouldn't have done it on purpose and If they are on the freeway walking then nine times out of ten they were in the wrong.

That's a horrible thought. A woman in Dallas DID run over a guy and she just kept on driving with him hanging out of the windshield til she got home. He wasn't dead (yet) so she just left him, stuck in the glass, in her garage. When he was finally dead, she got her friend to help her dump him in the Trinity River. She got caught though.

why is the person on the freeway? if they're dumb enough to be where they shouldn't be than don't they kinda deserve to get hit?

I wouldn't turn myself in- I was the one just driving along obeying the laws. It's not like I went on the sidewalk and was like "vroom vroom I'm coming for you"

i would never drive off in the first place if it's an accident then call the police and explain and they'd understand but to flee is saying that you were guilty of something or something you wouldn't want to cops to know. i would say never drive off and call the cops and explain and try to stay with the victim and see if you can help at all

Well, I go by my own 'moral' laws... me turning myself in wont make a diff. However, I would feel like a piece of sh*t if the person coulda lived if I would've called 911.

I would want to find out how the guy was doing, then beat the **** out him for being a pedestrian on the freeway.

No I wouldn't be able to live with myself...just the thought of knowing everyday that I killed someone would tear me up inside....I'd turn myself in.

OMG.. I personally don't think I could live with the remorse of not stopping to help! The remorse would probably overtake my life...
