Sorry just had that song on my mind...
My question (based on my earlier question re why people sue one another and what's wrong with America) now is this, and ok I'll eventually get to what the question is in my roundabout way:
It got me thinking...I'm trying to figure out why Americans are like no other human species on this planet...you're a very intersting "culture" you know...because you really have uniquely developed a way of living that is unlike any other.
Patriotism...I haven't really come to understand that yet, is primarily linked to the military....the fact that government runs it, and judging by the huge split and division in politics...makes me wonder if it's not the Republicans who really have control over the military....that is just one of my takes on this (and please feel free to comment on that...)
But that's not really what I wanted to talk about here. When I asked about people suing each other and why and what's wrong with America...I concluded this:

People have actually been conditioned and trained to attack each other...to sue one another...(don't know if military has any bearing on that yet) but it seems that the only way anyone can succeed financially (and I'm talking about the average joe here) is to steal it from someone. So if you are wronged you take it from your neighbour...but it's because your government has failed to provide you with your basic needs. So they really all profit off you. The lawyers, the congress (which is lawyers) and somehow...you all are SO PATRIOTIC and stand up and defend all of this....so I guess this is my question:

Americans have been pre-programed to be Patriotic towards their country, they pledge Allegiance to their flag. They are encouraged to have a flag flying at their house. While this is going on their country is suffering in the ravages of too much "I want everything" and I don't care how I will get it. So poor people cannot afford medicare/dental, I read where one young boy died because he could not afford dental care and had a tooth infection that went to his brain, he died! His mother could not afford dental coverage.
Here is a country obsessed with eating yet they are starving for medicare / healthcare and opportunity to give dignity to people. I have seen people in such dire straits, their living conditions not fit for a dog..so is it any wonder the people are starving and will steal..."Marie Antoinette"-- let them eat cake! well it's the same for Americans they are out powered by the need to make money to be successfull they will go to great lenghts...

Speaking in generalities, many Americans have been dumbed down to think that money and the control of money is more important than the 'Patriotic' principles set forth in the U. S. Constitution.
Example: "We hold these truths to be self evident, 'That All Men Are Created Equal!'"
I am backing Doctor Ron Paul as a future President of the USA, as I have been following his writings for over 20 years, and he is the only Presidential candidate not driven by greed & money.......He alone is a real honest to God PATRIOT!!!!!!!
