She was pretending to be from a Pure-Blood line like the Selwyns ... so after checking her geneology, they discover she is part Hag.

i agree Umbridge was let off way too easily! and that nasty Rita Skeeta too. she should be thrown in Azkaban (because she did break the law by making Harry use that dreadful quill and she was even going to use Crucio on him in book 6).
all of ther cats should be taken away from her and she should be forced to live in the Forbidden Forest with the Centaurs. or thrown in isolation to the cave where Slytherin's locket was hidden (maybe even into the water with the Inferi!).
