what didi the women use for their periods before pads were invented

i asked some friends and they said curtains/ bedsheet
but i read somewhere the women would be isolated in huts so i guess they had nothing

I've often contemplated the same thing, I've come up with the answer: rags, because sometimes it's referred to as 'being on the rag'.

I wonder what Eve did in the Garden when she had the very first one? Did she tell Adam that she was on the leaf?

they sat on cloths for their entire period. so for like a week. they just sat naked on the cloth or with a shirton or whenever they felt bleeding coming on
