Wow....such generalizations.
How many American men do you know with the name John, Michael, or Chris?
Take a look at the bigger picture, and stop making judgments on everybody's culture but your own.

Not all Muslim men are named Muhammad. You see, Muhammad was the founder of Islam and the Muslims belive that he is the last messanger and prophet of their God, Allah. Once again not all Mexican men are named Jose or Juan. Those are just some of the many mexican names. And Chinese first names are not all three letter long. The suriname is three letters long like Lee. Most chinese first names are double-barreled like the name Lee-Suan.

Muhammad is one of the most popular names in the muslim community because it gives respect or honor or represents to their religion, islam. For example, for most christians, they name they're children after the 12 apostles like john, matthew, paul, tomas, peter, or something like that.
Jose or Juan is common to the mexican people as the name juan means "God Is Gracious " and Jose means "God Will Increase". As we all know, Spanish people are very religious to the christian faith.
3 is considered a lucky number by most cultures. also, chinese characters/ names when translated is being refered to their pronounciation. another thing is that chinese people have long names.

Well, for Muslims, naming their child "Muhammed" would be the same as Catholics naming their kid for the saint day he was born on, other Christians name their kids after Apostles and archangels and stuff. As for Latinos naming their kids "Jose" and "Juan"....well, how many white/Anglo guys do you know named "Joseph/Joe" or "John?" Because that's what those names mean. John isn't the most popular name in the world only in English speaking countries, you know. Also, for the Christian world, John is a powerful name; John baptized Jesus and made him "reborn," just like a regular person is when they are baptized. Wouldn't you want to name your child something powerful like that in the hopes that it might rub off or something?
Further to this conversation, you are an idiot. You shouldn't base your opinions on stereotypes and make judgments like that. I'll be you're American. And people like you are the reason people hate us.
Also, Mexicans are NOT the only group of Spanish speaking people in the western hemisphere for criminy's sake! I'd like to see you go to NY or Florida and ask some dumb sh*t like that. The Cubans, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans will have some choice words for you, sir.
And as for Chinese first names....well most Asian cultures put the family (surname) first and then the personal name after that. Like in Mulan, when she goes to the army in place of her father, she says her name is "Fa-Ping," with Ping being her name and "Fa" the family name. Or when Chang comes to visit her he says "I'm looking for Fa- Mulan?"
Dude...grow up and live in the world.

The sam reason for a while all white men had names like Charles or Jonathan. . . Or white women had names like Stacy, Jennifer, Stephanie etc. It's an ethnic thing.
Unlike most white people during my birth period, my parents gave me some weird and odd spelled names lol
