but succumbing to the concept of binary opposition, for example god over satan, is to twist the reality that life is not composed of two opposing poles (duality) but of two overlapping and interpenetrating forces.

of course, good and evil are inextricable.
it helps us to understand by viewing them separately but you can never find them in their pure form....if god has all power why would 'he' allow the devil to exist? it's pretty hard to tell sometimes what is good an what is evil. a lifetime of practice.

You have some really twisted thinking. God and Satan are two different entities. Satan was created by God to be the most beautiful and most powerful of the angels. Satan's pride got in the way and he decided to get together with some of his angel buds and overthrow God's throne. Needless to say, God didn't allow that to happen and cast Satan and his fallen angels down here to earth. Yes, Satan does seem to be in control down here, but he can only do what God allows him to do. But the closer we get to Armageddon, the more power Satan will be given. His goal? To take as many of us with him to the lake of fire (Hell) as he can. He wants his own band of loyal subjects.
