It really depends. If they're new, definitely not, but if they've been washed several times before, then you could probably do it. A small amount of blue from the jeans bleeding into the water could actually make the shirt whiter. That's what bluing in the laundry does.
All in all, since there's no way to accurately predict how much dye will run from the jeans, it's probably not a good idea to risk it if you have a choice.

Sure, I do it all the time!
After washing your jeans, put them in the dryer, instead of line-drying them. When the dryer has completed it's cycle, and the jeans are dry, but still a little damp, pull the jeans till taut, and smooth your hand firmly over the material until all the creases have disappeared.
This is a method I always use to avoid the dreaded task of actually ironing my families clothing! !!!........... Although so simple, it works amazingly well on most items of clothing.Try it and see!

yeah. just make sure you dry the jeans longer than the shirt. the shirt will shrink before the jeans are dry.

Only if the jeans were prewashed or already washed by you and use all cold water- for the wash and the rinse.

If light ones, only on their second wash.
