Spreading democratic norms. Hmm.. Look at the support the US has shown for Pakistan (military dictatorship that overthrew a democratically elected government) and Saudi Arabia (country with an abysmal human rights record, with no democracy).
Then compare it with the support it gave for a legitimate government that was elected on a stance of ending corruption that was harming the poor. (Hammas in Palestine, Fatah was wasting money due to corruption.) Or its relations with one of the few democracies in the middle east, Iran.
Saying that, the US has supported democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan.
I would say that it has done some work, but has done a lot of harm as well.

Well let us look at the good neighbor policy of other nations hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! I have yet to find one nation that would handle the position in this world that USA has had in the last century. In fact it has been noted that Americans donate to world causes more than any other nation on earth.

The US is not responsible to the world for anything. The US is like a half crazed senile old woman, charging about the world and causing trouble instead of minding her own business. Thank the stars she's dying fast.

It used to be, that we were the( big brother) of the world, watching out for our( little brothers), but any more, we have turned into the bully, all the kids have to watch out for!
In the last eight years, our reputation has plummeted due to the practices of this administration!
And for my source? Ask anyone outside of this country about our rep!

No, America is too egotistical. America basically wants to have the biggest penis, and wave it around the world. And every single country has no choice but to suck it.
