First off, men should never make a girl feel like they need to compete for their love. Secondly, should a girl be put in that situation, the man obviously does not care enough about her, therefore she shouldn't waste her time.
On that note, I have and never will again, it won't last because the girl is always going to feel like she has to work to keep the love she won.

You should never compete for a guys love because he ALREADY knows who he's going to choose. If he's interested in you than he will choose you vice versa. Just be yourself show you care but don't COMPETE! It's too much energy and it's embarrassing when you've done everything in you power and he still goes the other way! If your genuine he will love you for you, it will all come naturally and at the end you won't be exhuasted and LONELY because he choose the other girl :)

No, I've never had to. I figure that you can't make someone love you. If I ever did feel threatened by another girl though, I might confront her or him depending on the situation.
