No, she blew it. She was never very talented to begin with, just marketed very well. She deserves everything she is getting and more for being a spoiled, selfish, rude, nasty, brat.

Depends on what she does with the rest of her life.
You see how Madonna successfully stayed in the limelights for so long? Bono of U2? Study their lives and note what they do.
Say, if Britney were to study operatic singing, or theatre, go to Harvard or some Seven Sisters school, or go to Darfur to campaign for peace, or go to some slum community to work with the poor, I think she would increase her popularity rather quickly.
Or she could go crusade for the wolves, the Arctic Wildlife National Reserve, the Tongass Rain Forest, or some other wilderness or park area.
However, I suspect she will just rest on her laurels, party hardy, and end up like Lindsay Lohan.

She was popular? When? She can't sing. She can't even lip sync. I prefer Christina Aguilerra(SP) She ruined a classic when she re-made Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones.

Shes not going downhill... she's hit rock bottom. Her "career" now is all the stupid things she is doing. She will never amount to anything or become a popular singer ever again.

No she's done for. That gravy train is on a broken down track. Even her parents gave up and our sponging off of Jamie-Lynn now-She's Zoey 101. Just rebuild her.....

Why are we so mean to people?

She is finished, and it is too bad, with a decent manager and some publicist who could control her, she could have remained popular.
