Yes, there is. I've tried this before but it never worked in attempt to clone Rayquaza. First, put the pokemon you want to clone on the GTS Room. Make sure nobody trades or the whole process goes bye-bye. Then, it says checking GTS's status.
When the clock on the far right corner reaches 8 spin, turn off your ds. Your pokemon should be in your party/box and in the GTS spot.(The clock may not reach 8 spins, in that case, move more far away from the link.

yes you can, using the gts.
1) go to the gts
2) deposit the pokemon u want to clone, and say u want a lvl 9 and under mew.
3) after the little clock symbol on the lower right corner has gone around 8 times, turn ur ds off.
4) turn it back on and u should have the pokemon u cloned in ur pc or party and in the gts

yes you leave a pokemon in the GTS and say you want a Mew lvl 9 and under. it will then go black and say checking GTS STATUS once the little time clock hand goes around 8 times ... turn off you ds. then turn it back on and if the pokemon was in ur party that you put up for offer... it will still be there and go in the gts...then go take out the clone

You can but it may mess up your system, I've never tried before. Go to the GTS and deposit the PKM you want to clone then after 7 turns of the "clock" then restart your DS. You will have 1 PKM in your GTS and 1 with you.
