I feel it is important to continue the process of educating people with regards to equal rights. This includes same sex marriage. Every news article that keeps people talking is good. It does not matter whether the article is for or against us. The key is to keep people talking about it.

I voted [for SSM marriage]. But the opinions of the lawmakers in the state of VT are more important than a pole, imho. I think the results are very good, though.

Yes, they are encouraging and Yes I believe it will become a non-issue. Hopefully it will be encouraging to other states as well!

So far the results are 66.5% in favor
only 32% against

I voted, Juan. When I voted it was 65.9% Yes and 32.9% No. That's better that two to one in favor. I think that over time SSM is inevitable in all states.

well considering only about on average 10% or people are gay that seems not to bad in my eyes
yes it would be a lot better if it was closer vote

but i bet if you asked those people if they were straight or gay
your percentage or homosexuals would be a lot lower the 10%
so it is really a good vote for gay marriage
