I heard that we would find out what Dudley saw when the Dementors attacked him, but we didn't. Has JK Rowling said in any interviews or anything what he saw? I really want to know.
Also, what was the point of that child in the station, that was crying? I had no idea, and was waiting for Dumbledore to explain. Was it suposed to represent Voldermorts soul or something?
If you could help that would be great, thanks.

I haven't read anything about what Dudley saw. Except that Rowling was going to say in the 7th book. So hopefully in one of the interviews someone ask.
With the child at the station, I believe that was the part of Voldemort soul that was in Harry. Because Harry told Voldemort to try remorse. The he(Harry) had seen what he will become. Also Dumbledore always said that Voldemorts soul was torn, ragged, and delmolished. The child is described as whipped, raw, rough skinned. So I believe that the child is Voldemorts soul.

I don't think Dudley saw anything when the dementors attacked most muggles aren't supposed to be able to see and that baby represented Voldemort's damaged soul and what he did to it by splitting it in 7 parts

Well, I haven't read anything about what Dudley sees when the dementors approach him.
But about that child, I think that yes, it might represent what has become of Voldemort.

I believe that leathery child was what would happen to Voldemort; if he didn't feel remorse for what he did. He would be stuck as that thing.. uncared for and pushed aside.
As for Dudley I don't think he could see the Dementors.

The ugly baby-type thing was the part of Voldemort's soul that died with Harry.

I was wondering about the dementor thing, myself. I was really curious about what Dudley saw!

i think in the book the never mentioned about dudley seeing anything ' special' that has not been mentioned, and i think it was the normal thing that the dementors do, take away happiness..maybe it sounded special coz he was a muggle. i dunno if its clear, but i tried.
