Even though the some of the lifeboats were brought aboard the Carpathia, and then later on lowered into Pier 54's harbour. They sat there, at the pier, open to thieves, and it's said that the Titanic's sistership, RMS Olympic, took the Titanic's lifeboats, the only remnant of her sister's doom across the Atlantic. As for the canvas Englehart Collapsibles A, B, C, and D, they were set adrift.

the life boats recovered by Carpathia were brought into New York and turned over to the White Star Line their owner........there's a picture somewhere that I have seen of 6 or 8 boats tied together and all alone at a NYC pier...such history, tragedy and horror all concentrated in one space......I would guess White Star would have repainted the name and put them on one of their other 50 ships...

that's a good question. Maybe they are in a museum somewhere, or maybe they were reused. More than likely just scrapped though. It's kind of sad how much history has been destroyed.
