I currently have a Treo 650. It is subject to constant soft resets to make it work (at least one every 24-48 hours).

I am looking for a new PDA/Phone and need advice.

Here are the items that are important to me:
- A good reliable phone that I don't have to reset so frequently
- Calendar access. I live off of my palm
- Mobile Internet
- Email (home and work)

Any ideas?

The software is fully updated. Even with no third party software the system has errors.

With those specs you need a Blackberry, no matter which one. I have a Palm Treo 680 and it does all those soft reset everytime, at least two times a day. I have a Blackberry Curve for work and it is great. The only thing that I don't like of the Blackberry Curve compared to Palm is the extensive navigation you have to do on the Curve to get to an application. Everything else is great and better that Plam's Treo line. Reliable (I haven't reset it since new for a month now), calendar is great, and they have third party calendars and applications for calendars, internet browser is better, although is not as easy to navigate as in the Palm browser. Email is the best....

Do you have latest software on 650. I have read that the initial releases did not have good memory handling causing these resets. The software update improves memory handling.

Palm support website will tell you how to identifiy the version you have and the version currently avaialble.

As a Palm user here are the differences you will see in blackberry:
1. No touch screen - so if you use touchscreen often you will find yourself using it in blackberry too, only to realize it does not work.
2. Email service boes through blackberry servers and costs extra per month.
