Sometimes its a head and a liver or kidney, sometimes a little pile of intestines, occasionally a whole rabbit (sometimes, though rarely, alive)! Most of the time she lays it just inside the door, as if trying to tell me something. What's going on? ( She hates canned food)

Just rabbits? My Gracie has brought us birds, mice, moles, frogs, fish, and one Christmas she brought home a goose head still with the neck. She really loves us. It is worse when they are still alive.

SAME PROBLEM!!!!! but hes gotten better...what i did was that @ first i tried switching the cat food, also due to that sometimes he has a hairball problem(poor baby) and this may sound silly, but i tend to switch the food alot just incase the cat gets bored of eating the same thing everyday(wouldnt you?) so i tired that. and i was also looking online to see if there are any other ways. what i learned is that you can try and make your own cat food w/ turkey and other stuff (which i wouldnt trust doing, just becuase tabel food isnt good for animals). the last idea that comes to mind is that if you put pinsol(?? i think thats it) it is supposed to have an odor that blocks away animals becuase they dont like the smell....but i hope this helps....good luck!

Your cat is telling you that you are her Alpha human, so she divides her spoils with you. I am not a cat lover, but the fact that they do things that some humans will not do, Makes me
rethink the idea of having a pet. (For sure a dog would not do it). Just stay on the offense and dispose of her gifts post haste.

Your cat is trying to contribute to the household. She is doing her part of bringing some food home. My dog when I was a kid would hunt birds and leave them on the back porch.

She is supporting the household by providing food.
You give her canned food, so she figures that she needs to supply real food to the house so you get something good to eat.

My brother's cat does the same thing, except it doesn't bring anything in the house.

she is bringing you presents
with mine it was birds
my back garden looked like the killing fields in the morning, get a bell for her collar, it might work, they hear them coming then
she is a preditor, doing what comes naturally to her, and she thinks she is doing good by bringing you bits

yeah, they don't know that it's gross, so it's giving you a gift. or, since it doesn't like canned food, it's telling you that it likes rabbits. ew, i know it's gross. but yeah, maybe she's just eating it and then she's a sloppy eater and stuff. hope it helps.
