In my previous question many responders said that I should not feel hostile towards her but imagine the circumstances that brought her to become a prostitute. I found out she's charging $250 an hour and by the look of her doesn't look unfortunate in the least! If I only had the time and money to take care of myself that well....now I really don't feel sorry for any of them. Anyone agree with me on this?

I look in the mirror and do you know what I see? A hard working devoted wife and mother with a baby on the way who gives more than she gets. I am not a slob like some of you assume I am. When I am not pregnant, which I don't ever plan to be again, I actually get hit on all the time. Of course I don't act on any of it and if my husband ever knew, don't you know he'd hit the roof. So my problem is not my looks- not even close- it's the fact that I am a little worn out at the moment due to my condition.

Let me Preface: I may feel differently if my husband cheated... that said:
You have to imagine that if a women is whoring herself out she has some major problems. Prostitutes often are addicted to drugs, were sexually abused as a child, or have little or no self-esteem or self-worth. If I were you I'd be furious at my husband (not only for PAYING to cheat but for putting my health at risk by sleeping with someone who's slept with tons of unknown people) and pity the prostitute.

I don't feel sorry for them as in sympathizing or empathizing with their behavior, but I do pity them.
They still earn their living not with their brain and smarts but by cheaply selling themselves.
I don't believe there's a single prostitute out there that enjoys herself all the time. There must be days when she wakes up and thinks, I don't feel like having sex today, I wish I had an office job.
Anyway, she has no self-respect, that's for sure.
But let's no focus on her. Let's focus on your husband, that he chose to see a prostitute in the first place, that it still bothers you, and that you never know when or if he will do it again. Chances are he will do it again you realize....

Why re you still with your husband? Cheating is an automatic deal breaker. There will never be trust in your marriage again. Don't be mad at her (she's just doing her job) be mad at your husband. He's the one that cheated, not her. It seem like your mad at him and trying to place the blame on her.
Yeah, prostitute's *choose* that lifestyle but your husband *chose* to be with a prostitute, What does that say about him?

That prostitute makes more money than most people working legitimate (legal) jobs. Of course she can afford to take care of herself. Why would you feel sorry for her in the first place?
I certainly hope you are not still sleeping with your husband! She is probably not the only hooker he's slept with, and who knows what diseases he has now.

I have read both of your questions and to feel sorry for somebody who chooses work that is equal to nothing more than spreading legs would be difficult for me. As fas as your question about getting her thrown into jail...Forget about it as you cannot make the police arrest her. This is something that they themselves must witness. However pregnant or not, I would be dealing with that husband of yours. How do you know that he is not now infected?

Why would you feel sorry for anyone who is doing a job they want to do? You shouldn't feel hostile towards her, it is just her job and she couldn't care less about your man. It's your husband who has betrayed you, and now look at you, you are feeling insecure, and measuring yourself up to this prostitue. Stop, you're better than that.

Not every prostitute's story is the same. It is a choice. She wouldn't prostitute herself if there was no market for it. Why be angry with the hooker? She didn't make any promises to you. Your husband did. Stay focused.

Yeah. Anyone who does that for a living is depraved, sorry to anyone who disagrees. Sex should only be for those you love and desire. And you can totally feel hostile towards the one your husband went to. I really hope you kicked that jerk to the curb, because I know you deserve better.

I don't have sympathy for any woman who sells herself. Prostitute or otherwise. However I also don't blame the car for the poor driver. Put the blame on the liar and cheat you are married to. She's just doing her job.
