i prefer to wear hose
sock sucks sorry to say
you can also wear barefoot, this is OK but then you feet will slide terrible inside the shoes
baby powder will even make it worse, don't use it

Yes you can and should wear them without socks. Most of Latin dancers wear this type of shoes without socks. Some wear fishent tights. Because the toe part is so open, socks or tights will rip in no time, so don't even bother.

I found it to be not true that you get more blisters without socks. Actually, if the shoe is fitted properly, it is the opposite for me. If you're worried about blisters carry some bandaids in your purse.

No, don't put any baby power inside. Your feet will sweat anyway and powder combined with sweat will only make it worse. Find something appropriate for dance shoes (your pick) on this site: http://www.bunheads.com if you find it necessary.

No definitely don't wear socks!!! It would look really tacky and they were made for you to wear barefoot. The only thing is make sure you get fitted correctly or you will get blisters. Good luck!!!♥♥♥

It will be fine, you don't need to wear socks/pantyhose. Just a little advice though, I would put a little baby powder on your feet so your feet won't sweat. It helps so your feet won't get a little slippery on the shoe.

Most dancers are barefoot when they wear those types of shoes but please remember your feet will sweat and get blisters on the balls of your feet and sides and heels. I would use resin instead of baby powder, just don't get it on the bottom of your shoes because you may stick and that would be bad.

At least for practice I would probably wear hose, but I don't think you have to. You may be more likely to get blisters without hose (I wouldn't wear socks though).
