The book is great! The movie could have been better, the effects are good, but they leave so much out and it jumps around a lot.

The book was incredible and the movie was good. I'd give the book 5 of 5 stars and the movie maybe 3 of 5. However, if you plan on both watching the movie and reading the book, then you should definitely watch the movie first. There is so much left out of the movie that it's a little disappointing if you're really familiar with the book.

The Book is better because the movie has no flow. The boOK has 800 something pages and you seriously can't expect to fit that many pages in a 2 hr 118 min long movie. The book is better if you want to know everything. The movie is ok if you want the blurry outline.

Well, as in most cases, the books are better than the films - there's so much more in the books.
But just as a film (I mean, not considering things cut from the book etc) I though O.O.T.P was great, I really liked it.
The ministry of magic was good and had a great battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort.

Both are good...the book was a little too long,the movie was pretty short and fast-paced,those were the disadvantages.however,the movie was the best out of all five in my opinion.it was really good,but it's disappointing that many things from the book was left out.

The book was outstanding. The movie wasn't up to par with the other movies. It was my least favorite of all the movies so far. They did a much better job of "Goblet of Fire" and that was longer.

Dont watch harry potter. Its the worst thing that has happend to hollywood "The potter mania" so try to stay away from this mania...
