Will all be revealed at the "Pyramid of the Sun" in Mexico?

Yep, that's right, just a bunch of HOGWASH
Haven't heard a good reason to believe it yet. Just checking. Maybe they'll carve a bigger calender for the next 24000 or so years, and give those people something to talk about. The only real end of earth that I know of is when you die.

What's next? December 22, 2012. As I explained before, the reason the Mayans didn't build a longer calendar is because they did not have a larger rock. I visited the area. Mayans still live in the area. Their distinctive profiles are everywhere, looking like they just stepped out of a rock relief. But, these people are living life. One was sitting on a plastic milk crate reading the New York Times. One young man was leaning across the hood of his very customized 1961 Chevy Impala convertible. He was chatting up a pretty girl. Four natives were working the crowd of tourists for a little money before they performed their daring pole and rope dance 100 feet in the air. These people, the Mayans themselves, are not worried their world will end just because a calendar runs out. Our calendar runs out each year and we go get another calendar. Geez.

It's a bit worrying that not only does the Aztec calender stop on that date but that other predictions also point to this date. However as no-one knows what the expression 'End of the World > as we know it' really means, it seems stupid to worry about something you have no control over.

After Dec. 21, 2012 will be Dec. 22, 2012. And after 2012 there will be 2013. Then people will stop asking these pointless questions!
But nooOOOoo, there will be some OTHER end of the world date. Then it will start all over again. People are so stupid!

all the answers to life will be summed up by the god of a people who sacrificed their kids and thought Europeans were some sort of god. get real. no form of enlightenment ever has or ever will come from that dirt country.

Well, the Mayans are no longer here, so... that should tell you something. I'm more concerned about OUR calendar - as it ends in LESS THAN 6 MONTHS. THEN WHAT?!?!?
Oh... that's right - I buy another calendar.
